The Oxford Bus Museum is a true hidden gem for anyone with an interest in transport history. Its impressive collection of vintage buses, coaches, and cars exceeds expectations, both in terms of scale and quality. The carefully curated displays offer a fascinating insight into Oxfordshire’s transport heritage, bringing the past vividly to life. There's a running fleet of Oxfordshire buses which give rides to the public see website for details. There's also a huge collection of old photographs on display together with memorabilia of a past age including uniforms, bus stops, models, destination blinds and boards, and ticket machines. The Historic Cycle Collection shows the development of the bicycle from the first Hobby Horse, with cart wheels, through the boneshaker and the penny farthing to the safety bicycle of today.
