Overview

Great for fans of industrial history and heavy machinery, Claymills Victorian Pumping Station is a wonderland of valves, pistons, pumps, wheels, gauges, and cylinders. There are four Victorian beam engines, boilers from the 1930s, a steam-driven workshop, and a ‘dynamo house’. There are also ‘steaming days’ every month, a cafe and a bookshop.
