Overview
Set in an elevated position surrounded by four acres of gardens and woodland, Hazel Bank Country House enjoys wonderful views of Borrowdale. The approach to this grand Victorian house is impressive, reached via a picturesque humpback bridge and a winding drive. Bedrooms are sumptuous and all are en suite. Carefully cooked dishes are served in the elegant dining room; the daily-changing, four-course menu features fresh, local ingredients. There is a friendly atmosphere here and the proprietors are very welcoming.
