"A welcoming bar and comfortable accommodation in this period inn"
Overview
Cherry Tree Inn is a charming 17th-century property located close to the town of Woodbridge. This authentic inn has many original features including oak beams, low ceilings and log fires. There is a great atmosphere in the bar with its good choice of cask ales, and evening meals feature an extensive choice of freshly prepared, traditional dishes. The bedrooms, in a separate converted barn, are spacious and very comfortable – two are on the ground floor.

About the area
Suffolk is Constable country, where the county’s crumbling, time-ravaged coastline spreads itself under wide skies to convey a wonderful sense of remoteness and solitude. Highly evocative and atmospheric, this is where rivers wind lazily to the sea and notorious 18th-century smugglers hid from the excise men.
