Overview
The Cherry Tree Inn features a large central counter, and several distinct seating areas amidst the twisting oak beams. The focus on customer care manifests subtly in many ways: the availability of board games; play equipment for children in the large enclosed garden; wheelchair access; dog friendliness; free WiFi. Winner of an AA Dinner Award, there are many gluten-free options among the locally-sourced and home-cooked menu dishes. The year sees around eight guest ales rotate, with Adnams and Aspall cider in permanent residence; a beer festival in early July confirms the pub’s ale credentials.
