Our Spa of the Year, revealed at the AA Hospitality Awards 2023, is lcoated in 93 acres of glorious West Sussex countryside. Set into the natural contours of the land and designed with sustainability in mind, The Spa complements the landscape with a meadow roof and green oak cladding, bringing the outside in and extending the spa out into the grounds.
The wild swimming pool surrounded by terraced sun decks, a hydrotherapy pool and an outdoor training terrace for the gym allows guests to truly connect with nature. South Lodge planted a vineyard in May 2022 and recently launched its signature spa treatment and product range, which is all-natural and uses grapevine extracts from the vineyard.

The Spa at South Lodge is simply one of the best in the UK. This 44,000 sq. ft. luxury spa has a state-of-the-art gym and spin studio, indoor pool, outdoor hydrotherapy pool, wild swimming and a thermal suite. There are also plenty of treatment rooms for both members, hotel residents and day guests. A wide range of treatments are available, as well as terraced sun decks, a mud room and the Ridgeview Beauty Bar. The Watershed serves a selection of drinks and light bites during the summer months.
