St Helens in the Park★★★★★
"Immaculate park with pods and terraced pitches close to North York Moors."
Overview
St Helens in the Park is a stunning 36-acre site located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, with beautiful landscaped grounds featuring an abundance of colourful, seasonal flowers. The park has four modern, well-maintained amenity blocks, all conveniently positioned and providing a high standard of comfort – two are unisex with fully serviced cubicles. The park is thoughtfully laid out over terraces, with tree screening creating smaller, more intimate areas, including a designated adults-only zone. For those looking for alternative accommodation, there are several well-equipped camping pods, all with electricity, two of which feature en suite shower rooms and kitchenettes. Additionally, a fully furnished, luxurious lodge offers a more premium self-catering option. On-site amenities include a licensed, dog-friendly café with a delightful alfresco garden and decked seating area, and a well-stocked licensed shop offering everyday essentials and pocket-money treats. There is a cycle route that leads through to the surrounding Wykeham Estate.

About the area
North Yorkshire, with its two National Parks and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is England’s largest county and one of the most rural. This is prime walking country, from the heather-clad heights of the North York Moors to the limestone country that is so typical of the Yorkshire Dales – a place of contrasts and discoveries, of history and legend.
