We have partnered with ECOLAB to help ensure we have the hygiene and infection prevention expertise, programs, and support needed to help manage through and recover from this crisis. They are supporting with innovative and effective products, rigorous procedures and ongoing staff training. Our health and safety experts have been working with phs to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests. During the most recent Covid Pandemic, our partners at phs have worked with us to source the latest available clean air solutions, best suited to our resort. We have invested in AeraMax clean air - this chemical free solution is proven and certified to remove 99.9% of airborne viruses within 35 minutes of operation. We are proud to be introducing this clean air technology to ensure the steady flow of clean air. Working with Alliance, we have reviewed our protocols and changed the way we clean and disinfect our resort. With the introduction of Electrostatic technology from Eco Statics Global, we can ensure the thorough cleaning of all areas, even the hard to reach areas. This cleaning system offers one of the most advanced technologies and chemicals to break the chain of infection. What’s more the cleaning solutions continue to work after use, ensuring ongoing protection for our guests and teams. In response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, harri, our new people management software platform, has launched a brand new Health Check app and we are thrilled to be working with them. This pioneering new Health Check App will help us identify team members who may be presenting Covid symptoms before they start their shift and come into contact with our guests. With the health and safety of team members, customers, and the community at our top priority, this robust and transparent digital solution is a key part of our reopening plans.

About The area
Discover West Dunbartonshire
West Dunbartonshire hugs the southern shores of the famous Loch Lomond and towns such as Balloch make an ideal starting point for cruises and boat trips up the loch. The broad valley of the River Leven stretches from the loch right down to the River Clyde and is one of the best stretches of river in Scotland for salmon and sea trout. As the river joins the Clyde, the ancient town of Dumbarton perches on the banks.
Between the fifth and ninth centuries, Dumbarton was the seat of Alt Clud, a powerful Brythonic (British) kingdom that dominated much of southern Scotland until it was absorbed into the new Scottish kingdom around AD870. It became the seat of Scots kings until 1018, when Dunfermline became capital. In the 19th century, it was one of the world’s greatest shipbuilding centres, giving birth to iconic vessels including the clipper Cutty Sark and the steamer Sir Walter Scott, which still carries passengers on Loch Lomond. Dumbarton’s unmissable landmark is Dumbarton Rock, a superb natural stronghold. This 250-foot volcanic plug is a magnificent defensive site, visible from miles away. Long after it ceased to be a royal seat, it continued to be an important stronghold.
