Our Inspector's view
This secluded hotel has outstanding views over the town and surrounding hills. The individually styled bedrooms are spacious and very well appointed – all have plasma TVs. The traditional, country-style public rooms have large sofas, welcoming open fires and an excellent whisky cabinet. Dinner is served in both the new Orangery and the existing restaurant every evening in the award-winning restaurant with only the best of Scottish produce being used. The staff are friendly and attentive.
