Skye Highland Adventures
Overview
Not for the faint-hearted, Skye Highland Adventures will introduce you to the heights and depths of this beautiful area. Its most popular challenge is canyoning, which involves jumping, swimming, sliding, scrambling, abseiling or ziplining your way to the bottom of a cavern, through waterfalls and crystal clear pools. Water tubing, coasteering, kayaking and a Spar Cave Adventure are also available.
Location
Skye & Highland Adventure Centre, Balmacara waterfront, A87, Kyle of Lochalsh, KYLESKU, HIGHLAND, IV40 8DJ
About the area
Apart from the Orkneys and the Shetlands, Highland is Scotland’s northernmost county. Probably its most famous feature is the mysterious and evocative Loch Ness, allegedly home to an ancient monster that has embedded itself in the world’s modern mythology, and the region’s tourist industry.
