Our COVID-19 measures:
To enhance our guest arrival we are introducing the "guest experience" on arrival which will provide our guests with an enhanced and personalised level of service. This will avoid waiting time and congestion. It will also and give the opportunity to intuitively anticipate a guest’s needs, to be curious and learn more about their needs, and respond with personalised and thoughtful solutions. They can be given more detailed information on our covid hygiene and distancing measures. We have also appointed a dedicated Covid Compliance officer, one task which will be the point of contact for any guest enquiry for more detail or reassurance. We are introducing a mobile app which guests will use to open their room/suite with. This will avoid issuing room cards.

Our Inspector's view

With its international reputation for high standards, this grand hotel provides something for everyone. A change of ownership has resulted in many areas being refurbished. Set in 850 acres of glorious countryside, Gleneagles offers a peaceful retreat, as well as many sporting activities, including the famous championship golf courses. All bedrooms are appointed to a high standard and offer both traditional and contemporary styles. Stylish public areas include various dining options: the Birnam Brasserie; The Strathearn, with two AA Rosettes; as well as inspired cooking at Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, a restaurant with four AA Rosettes. Afternoon tea can be taken in the Glendevon Room, and there's a range of bars around the resort – the American bar is a must. The award-winning ESPA spa offers the very latest treatments to restore both body and soul. Service is always professional – the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
