Tim and Liz Hore's dog-friendly pub has something unique among Salcombe's licensed premises – a large garden with sun terraces, children’s play area and even chickens. Where better to sit and enjoy a warm summer evening with a drink in hand? Inside, there is a mix of traditional seating and comfy sofas, and a roaring open fire in winter. The menu is built around the owners’ appreciation of the high-quality produce growing on their doorstep, both from the sea and the lush surrounding countryside. They have built close relationships with local suppliers and the pub is proud of its reputation for seasonal home-cooked food.
