Overview
The historic lakeside residence of Dale Head Hall dates from the 16th century and is set in attractive private grounds on the shores of Lake Thirlmere. This is a family-owned hotel and it is personally run by the friendly proprietors. Comfortable and inviting public areas include a charming lounge, and breakfast is served in the elegant dining room. A small selection of hearty homecooked dishes is served in the characterful bar on the night. Bedrooms have views of either the lake or the surrounding mountains.
