Centrally located in the heart of Penrith, this inviting hotel offers a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Bedrooms come in a range of sizes and styles, with some contemporary feature rooms and others more traditionally decorated. The spacious public areas retain a timeless charm with rich wood panelling and beams, open fireplace and stained glass windows. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed in the traditional lounges, as well as in the contemporary 1597 bar.

  Great location - Located in the heart of this busy market town within easy distance of the Lakes.
  Dedicated car park - The hotel has its own secure, barrier-controlled car park with EV charging points
  Fireside seating - Living flame fires or the open fire in the bar there is a warm seat waiting for you.
  Building full of character - This period building just oozes character from panelled rooms to wonky floors.
  Afternoon Tea - A range of afternoon teas is offered daily in one of the characterful public rooms.
