Ashby-de-la-Zouch Castle
Overview
Impressive ruins of a late medieval castle. The magnificent 24-metre Hastings Tower offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Ashby was the setting for the famous jousting scene in Sir Walter Scott's classic romance Ivanhoe.
