See the traction engines and road rollers in the very place that they were built. Soak up the atmosphere of the Long Shop, built in 1852 as one of the world’s first production line engineering halls. This is an award-winning museum with five exhibition halls full of items from the glorious age of steam, covering 200 years of local, social and industrial history.
