Overview
Everything you could want to know about life in Nidderdale is here, from the spread of religion and the development of transport to collections of cameras and razors that have been owned by local people. Some of the most enjoyable exhibits are the reconstructed cobbler’s shop, general store, milliner’s shop, joiner’s shop and solicitor’s office. All of them contain fascinating memorabilia, and the whole museum is much loved and well looked after.
