Lanefoot Farm Campsite★★★
"Panoramic views of the surrounding fells"
Overview
Welcoming camper vans, caravans, motorhomes and tents, Lanefoot Farm Campsite is in a hard-to-beat setting between Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwentwater. Depending on where onsite you are, you’ll see the Helvellyn range, Skiddaw, Barrow, Catbells and Lord’s Seat. Keswick, on the shores of Derwentwater, is the nearest town, but remember, this is the Lake District, so there’s much more to see.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills.
