Overview
Built in 1910 from stone quarried in its own 21 acres of grounds, Cragwood has bags of country-house charm, as well as marvellous views across the gardens to Lake Windermere. The two dining rooms have lovely views and smart furnishings. Cooking is modern country-house style, and plenty of attention is paid to flavour contrasts and balance.
