Overview
Nestled in rural Northumberland, just 1.5 miles from Haltwhistle and close to the iconic Hadrian's Wall, Herding Hill Farm Touring & Camping Site offers a stunning setting with breathtaking sunsets. The award-winning, dog-friendly site offers hardstanding touring pitches, all with electric, grass tent pitches and glamping accommodation with, or without, hot tubs. Up to two dogs are welcome on all tent and touring pitches free of charge. Amenities include luxurious family bathrooms, private bathrooms, no-push showers, a sauna available for hire, underfloor heating and a heated indoor campers’ kitchen with seating, freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. The site also offers a licensed shop selling local produce, a children’s playground, a BBQ hut for hire, an animal petting farm, a dog wash station, scenic dog walks, and a secure dog exercise field. Additional services include fire pits, BBQs, star-gazing kits, EV charging, free WiFi, pizzas delivered on Friday evenings during the season, and a quiet site policy after 22:30. Open all year round, the site is perfectly situated for exploring Hadrian’s Wall.
