Wealdway: Horsebridge to Wilmington

Walk directions

From the sadly dilapidated entrance to Horsebridge Mill, cross Upper Horsebridge Road with care and go straight on along London Road. Turn first right up Anglesey Avenue and continue until the end, turning right along Hempstead Lane. At the roundabout, go straight ahead along Brunel Drive to the A22. Cross this dual carriageway with great care and bear right. After 50yd (46m), turn left over a stile by a Wealdway waymarker.

Beyond the A22 dual carriageway, a rather devious headland path makes its way between cultivated fields. There are waymarks and stiles at regular intervals but it is easy to miss the way.
