Overview
If it’s a walking holiday you’re after, Rose Cottage is a great base. Set in the village of Hesket Newmarket at the edge of the Lake District National Park with all its fell-climbing opportunities, ramblers will be spoilt for choice. The cottage is a sympathetic conversion of an 18th-century building, providing comfort for those weary after a day’s strolling.
