The Old Vine
"Good food and cathedral views"
Overview
Directly opposite Winchester’s Cathedral and City Museum, this elegant Grade II listed pub was built on Saxon foundations in the 18th century. There are four guest beers in the oak-beamed bar, where you can eat sandwiches, salads and light bites. A typical meal could include cottage pie or pan-fried calves’ liver with Madeira and onion gravy. At the back of the pub you'll find a flower-filled patio.
