Not a spelling mistake, Petty Fours Restaurant is named after chef Alfred Petty, who is one of four brothers. Close by Truro Cathedral, it’s a smart set-up with white tablecloths and whimsical references to the brothers’ love of board games. The cooking is impressive, executed to pinpoint accuracy and delivering dishes with great creativity and intuitive flavour combinations.
