"Contemporary, elegant space for tasting menus."
Overview
It’s tasting menus only at Roots, with vegetarian, lunch and dinner options available. These change monthly and the food is inventive but uncomplicated, thoughtful and confidently constructed and presented. Service here is great, from a very knowledgeable team, and the elegant, intimate dining room (it’s small, so book early) is a relaxed, comfortable space. New Forest asparagus, lemongrass and caviar could precede trout, buttermilk, lettuce and chives; then venison, raspberry, teriyaki, pistachio, morel and cabbage. Show more
