Overview

The Pig and Butcher dates back to the 19th century when Islington was a village outside London and the area around the pub was fields used by farmers taking livestock to Smithfield meat market. Today, it’s stripped back look is on-trend, and includes an open kitchen, bar and lively atmosphere, while the modern British menu acknowledges its history by specialising in rare breed meat and game.
