"Creative contemporary cooking in charming Georgian house."
Overview
The Samphire Kitchen restaurant at Congham Hall – an 18th-century manor in 30 acres of landscaped grounds – has light wood flooring and tables, while seating is a mix of coloured tub chairs and benches. The room has a really relaxed feel and there are lovely views of the grounds. On sunny days, lunch on the terrace is a great option.

About the area
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea
