"Welcoming and beautifully refurbished Lakeland house in Keswick"
Overview
This traditional Lakeland house is less than five minutes’ walk from the centre of Keswick and makes an excellent base for exploring Derwentwater and the local area. There are many local walks, including around Derwentwater and in Whinlatter Forest Park, where there are also good cycle paths. History enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Neolithic-era Castlerigg Stone Circle near town.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills
