"A quiet Dorset hideaway"
Overview
Denbur stands in a lawned garden with cherry and apple trees in Gaunts Common, hunting ground of John of Gaunt, Richard ll’s uncle. The nearest town is Wimborne Minster, the minster itself having an astronomical clock and a chained library. Thankfully, in such fine walking and cycling country, good pubs are plentiful. Bread from Long Crichel bakery is highly recommended.
