Overview
Forester's Cottage is a delightful detached cottage within private grounds on the border of the New Forest/East Dorset. Ground level accommodation (no stairs) sleeps 4 and an infant (a travel cot, baby bath and highchair can be provided). Two bedrooms each with vaulted timber ceilings: a kingsize double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has an ensuite including shower, WC and handbasin. It's ideal for families, friends or a couple. The open plan living/dining area has plenty of natural light and is comfortably furnished with two and three seater sofas, country pine dining and other furniture, complimented with quality curtains and soft furnishings. The fully equipped kitchen includes a washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, fitted electric oven and hob, a microwave and other small appliances. Home entertainment includes a Smart TV, radio, books and games. Broadband, cosy gas central heating and all utilities, quality bed linens and towels are all included in a booking. The cottage garden is level with a secure fence and gate, a lawn and borders with shrubs and trees, a furnished patio with table, chairs, parasol and BBQ offers a lovely sunny space for alfresco dining and relaxation after a day exploring our location. Included in the garden is a Games Room with football game and table tennis, for the sole use of cottage residents. The cottage has level parking for two vehicles immediately next to the cottage. Further parking can be provided. Up to two dogs are welcome by arrangement. The location offers a wealth of pursuits for all abilities and ages, including a walking/cycling route into forestry to Moors Valley Country Park offering activities for all. There's a have a network of footpaths, bridleways, heathland and forestry tracks to explore. There's easy access into north and south New Forest National Park, a choice of beaches for a variety of water sports and spectacular coastal areas including fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast as well as a wealth of historic sites and National Trust properties.
