Overview
Suffolk Retreats offers accommodation, in a peaceful and tranquil location for groups of up to 24 guests in 5 properties. Situated on the Essex/ Suffolk border in a picturesque countryside setting, the main accommodation, The Granary, was a former grain store that has been carefully converted to offer luxury open plan living for family groups. There's even an option to add use of large Canadian hot tub that seat up to 9 people, in a covered area. There's plenty of parking on site and room to play outdoor games with croquet and giant chess provided. All guests also enjoy complimentary use of the extensive indoor games room, which has table tennis, darts, pool table and air hockey machine. For larger groups we can add use of our luxury traditional Mongolian yurts (closed in winter), which are fully kitted out with all you will need during your stay, including a wood burning stove. This is all located near to range of beautiful places to visit including Newmarket (for the races), Cambridge, Bury St. Edmunds, Clare great for country walks, tea and antique shops, and its splendid church) and Long Melford.
