The Lodge★★★★
Overview
The Lodge is the gatehouse to Knowlton Court and was designed in 1912 by Edwin Lutyens. This delightful property, with its secure garden and views over Memorial Park, is the ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Bright and welcoming throughout, the lodge has wooden flooring and oak beams that add to its rural charm. A large hall leads into a spacious and open-plan sitting and dining room, which seats 10 - ideal for family suppers. The adjoining kitchen is also large and well-equipped, meeting perfectly the needs of a family on holiday. There are four generous bedrooms - two en suite - each beautifully furnished with large beds, luxurious soft furnishings and high-quality linens as standard. A maximum of two (well-behaved) dogs are welcome.
