"Hide away in the grounds of a 17th-century moated house in the South Downs National Park."
Overview
Located in the grounds of Newtimber Place, a beautiful 17th-century moated house within the South Downs National Park, the Moatside cottages have ample parking and bedrooms on the ground floor. The heating is underfloor and is provided by a heat pump taking the heat from the nearby field. Some of the electric comes from solar panels in a field (not visible from the cottage). There are a number of walks from the cottages, which are only 7 miles from the popular city of Brighton and Hove. There is a riding school and golf courses nearby and the nearest public swimming pool is a 15-minute drive away.

There are plenty of walking routes in the South Downs National Park, cycling routes by the sea or visitors can explore the pretty town of Arundel with its historic castle and buildings
