Overview
This stretch of coast between Bude and Morwenstow is one of Cornwall's wild and dramatic corners. You'll find beaches such as Sandymouth, perfect for rockpooling or surfing, and backdrops of sheer cliffs made of stony clay rock. Learn more about the intriguing history of vibrant local characters such as the Reverend R.S. Hawker, the vicar of Morwenstow; and the Grenville family, owners of a fine mansion that stood for 60 years at Stowe Barton.
