Overview
The two lakes in these gardens have an outstanding collection of over 100 varieties of Hardy Water Lilies, awarded national status. The lakes stand within nine acres of beautiful gardens that include heather beds, a rock garden, a spring and summer bedding area, a woodland walk and a Victorian garden. The museum contains sporting trophies and ethnic material gathered on Major Percy Stewart’s world-wide travels between 1906 and 1926. Listen out for band concerts every other Sunday and various events throughout the summer.
