This is an unique place to visit, full of history, heritage, and heaps of Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese-fuelled fun. Take a trip back in time to where Wensleydale cheese-making began as you explore the Museum, and watch the master cheese-makers in action from the Viewing Gallery. Pop into the Cheese and Gift Shop before heading to the 1897 Coffee Shop for a refreshing drink and light bite. Alternatively, you could dine in Calvert’s Restaurant where you can sit back, relax and take in the stunning views over the surrounding Yorkshire Dales while you enjoy delicious homemade dishes inspired by the use of our cheese.
