Overview
A showcase of the South East's rural architectural heritage, where historic buildings have been rescued from destruction and rebuilt in the South Downs National Park. Vividly demonstrating the evolution of building techniques and use of local materials, these fascinating buildings bring to life the homes, farms and rural industries of the south east of the past 950 years. See also working Shire horses, cattle and traditional breeds of farm animals.
