Lismore Castle is the Irish home of the Duke of Devonshire. The beautifully situated walled and woodland gardens contain a fine collection of camellias, magnolias and other shrubs and a remarkable Yew Walk. Several pieces of contemporary sculpture have been installed in the garden. The West Wing is an art gallery and hosts contemporary art exhibitions. Lismore Castle remains a private family home and is not open to the public, but the garden and gallery are open for visitors.
