Walk directions

With your back to the road in the car park, take the path in the far left corner leading steeply downhill through trees. At the bottom meet a cross-path (The Greensand Way) and turn left. The track continues to a barrier then to Tilburstow Hill Road; cross the road to the path diagonally to the right and follow the Greensand Way. Go through a gate and when the Greensand Way turns right, take the public bridleway straight on through a metal gate.

The track ascends steeply through the woods and, at the top, bears left. At a cross-tracks by a waymarker turn right, ignoring side paths, and go downhill. At the next waymarker follow the footpath as it bends to the left and go through two wooden barriers to a road. Turn left immediately, past White Cottage, and walk along Enterdent Road. Take the footpath on the right opposite a path leading to houses. Continue uphill with views of the river, right. At a waymarker bear left up wooden steps, go over a stile to a grassy track and another stile. Continue past the children’s play area at Godstone Farm. Go over a stile by ‘Top Pen’ and continue straight ahead to the car park by the farm entrance and go over the stile. Continue along this path, through a little metal gate to Tilburstow Hill Road, where the path runs beside it.
