"Comfortable bunkhouse with history and character."
Overview
Newbrough Bunkhouse is part of Newbrough Town Hall and is run by a committee of volunteers. The hall is used by many local groups and makes a fantastic wedding reception venue. Only a few doors away is the Red Lion pub which serves evening meals. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to a local shop/filling station which serves food throughout the day until early evenings too. A great place to stay if you want to visit Hadrian’s wall and the surrounding area. Also situated right on the Hadrian’s cycle way.

About the area
If it’s history you’re after, there’s heaps of it in Northumberland. On Hadrian’s Wall you can imagine scarlet-cloaked Roman legionaries keeping watch for painted Pictish warriors while cursing the English weather and dreaming of home.
