Overview
The Churchill War Rooms, part of the Imperial War Museums group, form one of London’s most compelling historic attractions. Hidden beneath Westminster, this underground complex served as the top-secret headquarters of Britain’s government and military strategists during WW2. Today, the preserved wartime bunker offers visitors a uniquely immersive experience. Original rooms, including the Cabinet Room, Map Room, and Churchill’s living quarters, have been restored to their original condition, offering an authentic glimpse into life during wartime. The expansive Churchill Museum uses interactive displays, personal artefacts, and multimedia exhibits to explore Churchill’s life, leadership, and legacy.
