Overview
Just a few miles outside Peterborough is Tiny Steps Petting Farm, and it's a lovely day out for families with young children, although adults will hopefully enjoy it too. The farm is home to a variety of animals including chickens, goats, alpacas, geese, sheep and a pair of wallabies called Ant and Dec. Be sure to bring a picnic.

About the area
Much of the fenland around the Wash has been drained of its marshes and reclaimed as highly productive farmland. Further north, the coastline, with its sandy beaches, has been developed to accommodate the holiday industry, with caravans, campsites and the usual seaside paraphernalia.
