"Lakeland property with comfortable rooms and friendly feel."
Overview
Built from Lakeland slate and stone, The Haven is just a 50-metre stroll from the town centre and shops. The bright, spacious bedrooms are individually styled and offer en suite facilities along with deeply comfortable beds. A hearty Cumbrian breakfast is served in a very well-appointed dining room. The Haven benefits from limited off-road parking, available on a first-come-first-served basis. The pretty hanging baskets and planters outside set the scene for a warm and genuine welcome from the owners.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills.
