"Beautiful landscaping and great amenities near Porthtowan."
Overview
Porthtowan Tourist Park is a neat, level grassy site on high ground with plenty of shelter from mature trees and shrubs. Situated a mile from the Cornish surfing beach of Porthtowan, the site has grass pitches with easy access from the A30, an adventure play area, swings, a shop and games room. The park’s modern facilities are maintained to a high standard and include a launderette, a washing-up area and a disabled-friendly toilet and shower block. The site also has a purpose-built games and meeting room with a good library where tourist information leaflets are available. A tearoom, adjacent to the campsite, serves takeaway meals during the peak season (limited opening hours at other times of the year) and barbecues are also allowed. Dogs are welcome on site.
