"Peaceful riverside park with touring and luxury glamping."
Overview
Set in the grounds of a former garden centre and enjoying a superb location along the River Seiont, Riverside Camping is approached by an impressive tree-lined drive. Immaculately maintained by the owners, there is a mixture of riverside grassy pitches and fully serviced pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Hardstanding pitches have electric hook-up, water and TV connection but no drainage. In addition to the smart amenity blocks, other facilities include an excellent café/restaurant and volleyball and badminton courts; river fishing permits are also available. Four 'Riverside Cabans' with wood-burning stoves, picnic gardens and Japanese hot tubs, and two mountain-view, luxury tented lodges that include private saunas and sleep six people are offered for hire. This is a haven of peace close to Caernarfon and Snowdonia which offers some great walking opportunities.

About the area
The county of Gwynedd is home to most of the Snowdonia National Park – including the wettest spot in Britain, an arête running up to Snowdon’s summit that receives an average annual rainfall of 4,473mm. With its mighty peaks, rivers and strong Welsh heritage (it has the highest proportion of Welsh-speakers in all of Wales), it’s always been an extremely popular place to visit and live.
