Kent Battle of Britain Museum

Overview
Once a Battle of Britain Station, today it houses the largest collection of relics and related memorabilia of British and German aircraft involved in the fighting. Also on display are full-size replicas of the Hurricane, Spitfire and Me109 used in Battle of Britain films. Artefacts on show, recovered from over 700 Battle of Britain aircraft, form a lasting memorial to all those involved in the conflict. Also on display are aircrafts, vehicles, weapons, flying equipment, uniforms and fine art prints.

Kent is home to the White Cliffs of Dover, an English icon that marks the point where the Kent Downs AONB stretches from the Surrey Hills down to the sea. Visitors can explore historic parklands, including Knole Park and Sir Winston Churchill’s former home at Chartwell, or beautiful nature reserves, such as the coppiced woodlands of Denge Wood and Earley Wood and the ancient fine chalk woodland of Yockletts Bank.
