Overview
One of the most unusual of Wales's 'little trains'; built in 1895 as a horse-drawn tramway to carry building materials it was later converted to a steam miniature railway and now covers two miles. Its route passes one of the loveliest beaches in Wales, with views of the beautiful Mawddach Estuary. Trains connect with the passenger ferry to Barmouth.
