You’ll be transported back to the land of the ancient Egyptians at Macclesfield’s purpose built West Park Museum. Travel down the Nile with Victorian explorer Marianne Brocklehurst, daughter of Macclesfield millowner Charles Brocklehurst, and see the treasures she collected from her explorations in the 19th century. Alongside this renowned collection is a Local History display, including a selection of works by local bird and countryside artist, Charles Tunnicliffe.
