"Local history and more at this great little museum"
Overview
It’s not just local history at Folkestone Town Hall & Museum, but it certainly is well covered. Exhibits look at the origins of the town in the Neolithic era, its maritime history, ‘fashionable Folkestone’, the influx of Belgian refugees in WW1, the WW2 evacuation of the town, and more. There’s also a gallery of sketches by the Old Masters.
