Overview
Set in over 2200 acres of woodland, Smithills Hall is one of the oldest and best-preserved manor houses in the North West. Smithills Hall’s history dates to the 14th century. Today, much of the hall has been restored to original splendour, you can see rooms and displays from across the centuries. They offer a varied programme of events for all ages including a Garden Party, ghost and history tours and school holiday activities.
